Preparing the Surface:
All surfaces must be clean and free from debris. Always test product in an inconspicuous area for suitability.
All types of wood including but not limited to: pressure treated, pine, spruce, cedar, red wood, cypress, oak, poplar, birch, and previously stained wood.
Directions for Application:
Completely wet the surface by applying Wood Sealer with a paint brush, roller, SureSeal Pump Sprayer or an airless sprayer. Apply one coat with smooth even strokes, thoroughly saturating the surface being treated. At least one hour drying time is recommended before using the treated area. For optimum protection, allow to cure for 24 hours.
To clean treated areas, use a garden hose with a pressure nozzle. Do not use harsh cleaning agents such as abrasive powders, ammonia, acids, bleach, solvents or abrasive scrubbing pads.
Up to 600 to 1500 square feet per gallon. Coverage is approximate and will vary depending on the surface being treated and the applicator.
Do not use a sprayer with rubber parts in which SureSeal would come in contact. Suggested sprayers; SureSeal Pump Sprayer.
